Quite a change in me, in bikes and in road conditions in 55 years. I have recently taken up cycling again and concentrated on off road and cycle ways, especially old railways, that do not have too many hills.

I have been working with the Seaford Community Partnership for many years, trying to get a circum-Seaford cycle route established, with little success. Having now joined Cycle Seahaven, the chances seemed greatly improved and shortly a map of cycle routes in Seaford will become available.

The first ride I did with the club, was on May 1st 2011, a gentle journey from the Martello Tower to Newhaven Harbour, mostly on cycle paths. It was pretty level but a strong north-east wind made for an interesting push at times. Here are some of the pictures:
