AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
The AIM of the Association is to serve the residents of Seaford and its environs.
The OBJECTIVES to further the Aim:
To provide a forum for Open Meetings on topics of general interest;
To act as a watchdog on proposals for changes to the Town;
To monitor planning applications and proposals of Statutory Bodies and respond in accordance with the Aim;
To advance suggestions for improvements to local amenities and endeavour to see that they are carried through;
To develop and maintain contact with Seaford Town Council, Lewes District Council, East Sussex County Council and other Bodies, both directly and through elected members, in matters relating to the exercise of their powers and statutory functions;
To liaise with organisations locally with similar interests;
To conduct its affairs on a strictly non-party political, non-sectarian basis.
